The favorite of the Eastenders favorite Letitia Dean resulted in the changes in the lifestyle behind her dramatic weight loss when she returns to screens after a break from Albert Square.
The actress, who has been known for Sharon Watts since the first episode of the BBC SOAP in 1985, said that she dropped two stone and four clothes sizes in just four months after the revision of her eating habits.
The 56-year-old admitted that she had rely on Junk Food for years and tried a number of hissing diets such as Atkins and extreme egg plans, but nothing never lasted.
“I just woke up one morning and had enough,” she said in Closer Magazine. “My weight turned up and down for years. I would go with a selection of diets and lose a stone in a few weeks and then fall back into bad habits.”
Dean said her turning point had come after taking part in strict dance when she realized how good she felt at the end of the live shows and the subsequent tour.
Now she sticks to around 1,300 calories a day and focuses on “grilled skinless chicken” and “many greens” and remains active with boxing and running. “I found that I had so much more energy than when I ate Junk Food,” she added.

Her transformation has not been unnoticed by fans. Before her dramatic return on the screen, a teaser clip that Sharon returned with son Albie triggered a wave of praise online. “She looks incredible,” wrote a trailer while another explained: “The queen is back.”

Dean previously talked about how cruel her appearance has influenced her self -confidence. During Eastenders’ spin-off secrets from the square, she remembered that it had been attacked with rinsing, including: “She is too fat, the other actors complain that they cannot fit on the set with her.”
The actress was also open to a breast -reducing surgery as a teenager and said that she was unsure about her appearance at the time. “Occasionally, my attention is bothered by my appearance,” she said Hello! In 2001 “I have these things in perspective these days.”
Dean is still one of the longest reigning and most popular stars of Eastenders after grew up on the screen and was at the center of many most dramatic action lines of the soap.
